Overview

The Veterinary Student Ambassador will serve as the primary liaison between Thrive Pet Healthcare and veterinary students, engaging peers through educational and networking events while showcasing Thrive's support for veterinarians.

In Short

• Plan and coordinate networking events with the University Relations Partner.
• Send regular updates to students about job opportunities and events.
• Promote Thrive’s social media presence among students.
• Actively recruit students for externships and internships.
• Build relationships with student clubs for event planning.
• Provide feedback on student engagement and industry trends.
• Engage with students at events wearing Thrive swag.
• Participate in monthly check-ins with the URP.
• Maintain university guidelines during events.
• Foster brand awareness through communication and outreach.

Requirements

• Rising 2nd or 3rd-year veterinary student at an AVMA-accredited school.
• Interest in small animal general practice or specialty medicine.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Friendly and approachable personality.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Must not serve as a Student Ambassador for a direct competitor.
