Internal Communications Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an Internal Communications Specialist at Vital Farms, you’ll be responsible for helping shape and amplify employee communications, ensuring clarity, transparency, and engagement among crew across the country.

In Short

• Draft, edit, and distribute a variety of internal communications including newsletters, announcements, intranet, and campaigns.
• Develop a strong pulse for sentiment among Egg Central Station (ECS) crew members.
• Collaborate with ECS leadership to deliver updates clearly and consistently.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align communications with company-wide initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.
• Contribute ideas to improve communication strategies based on data and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience in internal communications or public relations.
• Located near Springfield, MO or surrounding area.
• This role is remote with travel to Springfield, MO approximately 2-3 times monthly.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in the CPG production industry preferred.
• Proficiency in communication tools such as Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative team player with relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
