Business Operations Analyst - Remote

Overview

Vistra has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Operations Analyst to provide comprehensive administrative and operations support to senior Department of Defense clients. This Business Operations Analyst will ensure efficient office operations, enabling senior leadership to focus on strategic decision-making. While this is a remote position, the Business Operations Analyst must be available to support periodic requirements onsite at the Pentagon as requested.

In Short

• Assists with project management and special assignments, including Congressional reports and requests for information
• Organize, track, and coordinate multiple requirements simultaneously, reprioritizing based on understanding of client and stakeholder demands
• Track office requirements including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and handling correspondence
• Prepare DoD correspondence package components (e.g., memos, action memos)
• Draft progress reports, action memoranda, and stakeholder emails
• Coordinate travel logistics
• Liaise with stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of directly related experience or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of directly related experience working in the DoD, VA, or other Federal agency
• Previous administrative or office management experience within the DoD, VA, or other Federal agency; previous DoD administrative or office management experience preferred
• Familiarity with preparing DoD correspondence package components
• Demonstrated understanding and previous experience with the DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) preferred
• Experiencing preparing Congressional reports and drafting responses to requests for information preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Ability to draft clear and concise written products with high attention to detail
