Overview

VPG is seeking a motivated OEM BD & Sales Engineer to generate new design wins and maintain existing business by working with engineers at current and new customers in the Western US territory.

In Short

  • Conduct weekly onsite and virtual customer visits
  • Generate and manage new business opportunities
  • Cultivate relationships with design engineers
  • Promote VPG Foil Resistor brands
  • Develop strategic plans for market penetration
  • Perform technical consultations and product presentations
  • Maintain account reports and CRM documentation
  • Target market segments including Data Center Fiber Optics and EV Battery Management
  • Travel expectations up to 35%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BEng)
  • 5+ years of technical electronics sales experience
  • New Business Development experience
  • OEM Experience
  • Proven track record in achieving design-in objectives
  • Strong technical knowledge of passive components
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
