Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Data Platform team at Pismo is responsible for integrating data produced by Pismo's Banking as a Service/Payments platform with its clients, ensuring high performance and reliability in a fully cloud-based architecture.

In Short

• Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines.
• Drive performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness improvements.
• Manage production operations and monitoring of data systems.

• Mentor peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production incidents.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years experience with Golang.
• 3+ years experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3).
• 2+ years experience with Terraform.
• Software Engineering experience in building streaming applications.
• Python experience is desirable.
