Senior .NET Developer - Remote

Overview

VetsEZ is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support enterprise healthcare systems modernization for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role is responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical web applications that support large-scale data processing, reporting, and integration across VA systems and Oracle Health platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong .NET development experience, works well in Agile teams, and is committed to delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET and .NET Core applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate front-end frameworks.
• Interface with IRIS and SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support software development lifecycle activities.
• Implement automated testing and deployment strategies.
• Enhance and maintain a centralized portal.
• Ensure code compliance with accessibility and cybersecurity requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in modernization efforts and integration planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and application security.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with web hosting and performance optimization.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
