Data Quality Analyst Lead - Remote

Overview

VetsEZ is currently looking for a Data Validation Team Lead (Data Analyst / Quality Analyst – Lead) for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal healthcare initiative with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of enterprise data as it is integrated from Oracle Health into VA systems.

In Short

• Lead the Validation Team supporting Data Syndication activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for validation efforts across data integration workflows.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to data analysts and quality analysts.
• Oversee validation of data ingested from Oracle Health.
• Ensure validation processes meet defined accuracy thresholds.
• Lead reconciliation efforts, including source-to-target comparisons.
• Validate ETL/ELT outputs to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to verify data integrity.
• Produce and oversee validation reports for program reporting.
• Track data quality metrics and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data analysis or validation.
• 2+ years of experience leading data-focused teams.
• Strong SQL expertise.
• Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proven experience with data validation in healthcare environments.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
