Overview

As the Principal AI Architect, you will be a key strategic player in transforming Vertex’s AI capabilities and ensuring our platform leads in the domain of indirect tax software solutions.

In Short

• Lead the development and integration of AI Agents and Semantic Kernel.
• Define and execute use cases and integration strategies for AI-driven insights.
• Oversee integration of AI Search into the Vertex Cloud Platform.
• Design and implement AI-powered search features.
• Develop scalable cross-cloud AI interaction frameworks.
• Optimize AOAI deployment models.
• Architect and manage data flow across systems.
• Implement strategies for Snowflake technologies.
• Ensure robust security for AI models.
• Work with compliance and security teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale Azure and AWS implementations.
• Knowledge of development languages and DevOps tools.
• Experience with complex enterprise applications migration.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Agile teams and technical roadmaps.
