Overview

We are hiring an experienced DX Engineer with a strong technical writing background to join our Docs team at Vercel, where you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality documentation.

In Short

Develop and update technical documentation for Vercel's tools and APIs
Ensure documentation meets reader's needs
Review and refine documentation for clarity
Maintain and improve documentation sites
Manage projects and adhere to deadlines
Embrace new products and share knowledge
Report to the Director of Docs

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Technical Writing or related role
Familiarity with frontend tools like TypeScript and Next.js
Proficient in MDX, Markdown, and Git workflows
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt and articulate complex concepts
Focus on reader accessibility and engagement
Understanding of various content types in technical writing
