Overview

Vercel is looking for an experienced individual to join the Design Engineering team at Senior or Staff level, responsible for the highest level of polish, creativity, and interaction on Vercel.

In Short

• Lead design initiatives and create innovative systems-based solutions.
• Report to the Director of Design Engineering.
• Contribute to the design process from project start.
• Collaborate with designers and partners for high-quality implementations.
• Champion iterative improvements to browser performance and usability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience.
• Strong programming skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Next.js, Vercel, and CMS platforms.
• Graphic design skills (layout, typography, color).
• Focus on experience polish and accessibility.
• Experience in SaaS companies.
• Collaboration with marketing and design teams.
