Senior UX Designer - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will be key to bridging the gap between the product team and internal as well as external resources. You will be a collaborative, shared resource, across marketing, corporate brand and of course, product. You will utilize your creative expertise as a patient and provider-focused ambassador, to help develop and implement product design vision, in a fast-paced agile environment.

In Short

• Ability to function as a multi-talented individual contributor, and eventually, a leader and mentor to a high-functioning design team
• Create assets for Verana, interpreting business vision into elegant and functional solutions
• Own interaction design and associated workflows, interpreting user research into actionable design
• Bring and utilize functional, scalable tools/software which will be used as a standardized resource
• Develop innovative presentations; expressive and able to translate concepts into actionable project objectives, communicating appropriately with varied audiences
• Understand how to define what user research needs to be done, working collaboratively and effectively with user researchers, but scrappy enough to do your own user research when necessary.
• Ability to take research findings and leverage them appropriately in service of building Verana’s best in class solutions for a diverse representation of customers

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on professional experience as a UX designer, currently functioning as an amazing designer with a portfolio that is inspiring. You have a rock-solid understanding of the user-centered design process, and a further 3+ years of experience leading and managing a design team
• Confident and articulate, with an innate ability to work autonomously, and in many cases make a strong and validated proposal to various stakeholders
• Possess measurable data visualization background
• B2B and B2C experience needed
• Strong mobile design background required
• Need to possess health tech background
• Willingness to work across time zones, when needed
• Data obsessed and analytical
