Overview

The Lead Control Command System Engineer is responsible for a team ensuring the design, development, and implementation of solutions to control and operate plants.

In Short

  • Coordinate and control a team of specialists in control command on a plant project.
  • Ensure the coherence of the study with the specifications.
  • Deliver technical specifications and detailed diagrams.
  • Participate in coordinating relationships with other stakeholders and clients.
  • Regularly report and maintain dashboards related to the specialty.
  • Participate in equipment inspections at suppliers.
  • Monitor developments and new products/processes.
  • Coordinate control command purchases for projects.
  • Issue calls for tenders and evaluate suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality, and budgets.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent with a specialty in Control Command or Automation.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Technical expertise in the design and commissioning of control-command systems.
  • Knowledge of purchasing in an EPC environment.
  • Basic contractual knowledge.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Skills in leadership, organization, rigor, reactivity, synthesis, negotiation, communication, and interest in new technologies.
