Overview

Processor Performance Engineer will be tasked to analyze and optimize performance for the highest-performance RISC-V CPUs designed for data center, AI, and edge workloads.

In Short

• Critically review Design Specifications
• Refine Performance Modeling infrastructure
• Define applications and benchmarks for performance measurement
• Analyze performance characteristics at multiple simulation levels
• Work with architects to identify performance opportunities
• Collaborate with Software team on optimization of libraries
• Characterization of software for microarchitecture
• Optimize compiler/toolchain for performance
• Work independently across geographies
• Support performance monitoring hardware specification

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of RISC-V ISA and microarchitecture
• Experience in performance modeling and analysis for high-performance CPUs
• Domain expertise in computer architecture concepts
• Ability to work independently
• Bachelors or Masters in a related engineering field
