Patient Account Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Patient Account Specialist for Value-Based RCM, Inc. (VBRCM) is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls related to patient accounts, all while ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.

• Manage inbound and outbound calls related to patient accounts
• Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction
• Interact with patients via phone, email, or online chat
• Assist patients with inquiries regarding their accounts
• Coordinate with various departments to handle patient requests
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and services
• Support team through strong attendance and performance
• Maintain knowledge of client processes
• Exhibit professional behavior and communication skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Working knowledge of EOB’s, CPT and DX codes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI guidelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability and desire to work in a remote environment
