Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the company’s financial reporting and technical accounting processes.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, including the preparation of interim and financial statements.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
• Assist in the preparation and review of management reports.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting.
• Research and interpret complex accounting issues.
• Provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
• Implement new accounting standards.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Bilingual English / Spanish required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or public company.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in technical accounting areas.
