OpenPhone is a modern business phone provider on a mission to help people communicate better and be more productive. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team and help scale our accounting operations.

In Short

• Lead and manage month-end close process
• Own accounts payable and spend management
• Support financial reporting and audit preparation
• Oversee payroll accounting and compliance workflows
• Drive improvements in accounting systems
• Assist with technical accounting research
• Take initiative on strategic projects
• Manage tax and compliance workflows
• Own revenue recognition and improve billing operations
• Collaborate across teams

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Proficiency with accounting systems like QuickBooks
• Experience with multi-entity accounting a plus
• Attention to detail and process improvement skills
• Ownership and clear communication skills
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
