Overview

The Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative is responsible for front-line interaction with customers, handling inquiries, processing transactions, and providing excellent service while maintaining a professional company image.

  • Handle a high volume of customer calls and inquiries.
  • Resolve issues using various applications like AS400 and Salesforce.
  • Process insurance transactions and payments.
  • Provide product information and recommend add-on products.
  • De-escalate customer complaints and follow up on unresolved inquiries.
  • Maintain performance levels and meet KPIs.
  • Protect proprietary information of the company.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Work flexible schedules during core service hours.
  • Be part of a supportive team environment focused on problem-solving.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of Call Center or two years of Customer Service experience.
  • Proficient in communication and math skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn customer service software.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong phone and soft skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills.
  • Must secure and maintain an insurance license.
