Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of items to customers while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Perform shipping and receiving activities for a Branch location.
• Ensure the correct items are picked and shipped according to sales orders.
• Prepare items for delivery and secure packages for shipment.
• Sort and organize materials according to established codes.
• Report damaged inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• May deliver items to customers and obtain signatures.
• Process counter sales or invoices for customers.
• May operate a forklift or similar equipment.
• Receive items in the computer system to track inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED typically required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• Forklift certification may be needed.
