Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst supports Motion's Executive, Finance, and Operational Leadership by contributing to world class financial analyses and providing thought-provoking, value-adding insight into financial performance.

In Short

• Support financial analyses for executive and operational leadership.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to improve capital expenditure processes.
• Conduct return on investment analyses for capital investment decisions.
• Design financial models and reports to drive business value.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for capital spending.
• Drive process improvements and standardization.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support Finance and Operations objectives.
• Develop creative solutions to financial challenges.
• Build relationships across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analysis.
• Experience with data modeling and visualization tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying financial concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP is a plus.
