The Technical Support Specialist - Network (Tier 2) at US Signal provides exceptional customer support for network services and managed firewall offerings, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues while mentoring Tier 1 support agents.

In Short

  • Full-time position working four 10-hour shifts.
  • Remote work with on-call requirements.
  • Act as an escalation point for level II Network & Security issues.
  • Troubleshoot Ethernet and IP-related issues.
  • Provide support for Palo Alto and pfSense firewalls.
  • Mentor Tier 1 Support Agents.
  • Receive overflow customer calls for technical support.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Expert in customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Data/IP Networking.
  • Familiarity with routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and network tools.
