Contract Specialist - Remote

Overview

A member of a team that provides acquisition support services to a government agency.

In Short

• Perform acquisition strategy planning to include assisting and collecting requirement package(s) for contract file from mission partners.
• Perform reviews and assist in developing Performance Work Statements and Statements of Work with the mission partner.
• Provide source selection support within limitation of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
• Draft acquisition/contract documentation for supported official(s).
• Perform all pre-award and post-award functions with direction from supported official cradle-to-grave contracting.
• Pre-award functions include market research, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Post-award functions include contract administration and closeout.
• Mentoring and coaching of junior members of team.
• Assist in the performance of price and cost analysis.
• Perform contract closeout functions.

Requirements

• Experience in acquisition support services.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation.
• Ability to draft contract documentation.
• Experience in pre-award and post-award functions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in market research.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
• Experience in price and cost analysis.
• Familiarity with contract closeout processes.
