Senior Product Designer, Onboarding Experience - Remote

Overview

As the Senior Product Designer, Onboarding Experience at Upstart, you will work with product and engineering partners to define the strategy, conduct research, and lead iterative design cycles for the Onboarding Experience team, focusing on reducing borrower wait time throughout the application process for Upstart’s flagship personal loans product.

In Short

• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design mockups.
• Drive user research & analysis through interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
• Create and maintain user journey maps, personas, and service blueprints.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct usability tests on new and existing features.
• Create an amazing user experience aligned with brand guidelines.
• Leverage data from customer feedback and analytics.
• Ensure designs are accessible and inclusive.
• Contribute to and maintain a design system.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience designing and launching digital products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design process.
• Highly skilled with Figma, Usertesting, and similar tools.
• Clear communicator and collaborator.
• Experience with user research studies.
