Overview

The Assistant Director of Financial Aid will evaluate, approve, and award financial aid to students, ensuring compliance with regulations and improving customer satisfaction through effective relationships.

In Short

Conduct proactive outreach to students via email, phone, and text.
Schedule appointments with current and prospective students.
Assess financial need and advise on aid options.
Evaluate academic progress and facilitate appeals.
Perform report writing using Banner and Excel.
Troubleshoot Banner issues to enhance efficiency.
Assist in processing COD and CPS.
Coordinate yearly activities and develop communication materials.
Prepare documentation for audits and reports.
Manage a caseload of students and assist with financial literacy workshops.

Requirements

Experience in financial aid processes.
Strong communication and outreach skills.
Proficiency in Banner and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience working with diverse student populations.
