Part-Time Finance Assistant - Remote

Overview

This is a part-time role for a Finance Assistant at Global Fishing Watch, a nonprofit organization focused on ocean governance and transparency.

In Short

• Part-time position (32 hours per week)
• 5-month fixed term with possible extension
• Responsibilities include processing AP invoices and creating purchase orders
• Must have experience with US GAAP and NGO experience
• Excel skills required; Intacct knowledge is a plus
• Remote role, but candidates must be based in the USA
• Compensation range: US$ 42-50 per hour

Requirements

• Direct experience with US GAAP
• Experience in an NGO setting
• Proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with Intacct is nice to have
• Ability to work in Eastern or Central timezone
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to correspond with vendors and employees
• Experience in processing invoices and purchase orders
• Ability to maintain vendor files and profiles
