Overview

The Workday/Anaplan Budget and Planning Analyst will play a critical role in the Finance/Procurement Workday Support Services team by implementing and sustaining budgeting and planning processes.

  • Position serves as Workday/Anaplan Budget and Planning Analyst.
  • Complete hands-on functional and technical project activities.
  • Coordinate and participate in system design workshops.
  • Assist in the enhancement of budgeting and planning configuration.
  • Support campuses with accurate reports for monitoring accounts.
  • Conduct pre-implementation quality assurance testing.
  • Stay current with federal and state laws regarding financial operations.
  • Provide support for financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with various UA campuses.
  • Maintain foundational data models for financial transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience in finance.
  • Experience with Workday Finance preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and travel as needed.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting.
  • Ability to assess and implement finance business processes.
  • Licensure as CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in change management for finance ERP systems.
