Overview

The Transplant Clinical Specialist will collaborate with the Director of Quality for the Cancer Institute to implement and oversee the quality plan for transplant and cellular therapy, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent patient care.

In Short

  • Collaborate with the Cancer Institute's Director of Quality.
  • Implement the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Quality Plan.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain policies.
  • Focus on the care of transplant and cellular therapy patients.
  • Conduct compliance audits and inspections.
  • Facilitate communication between various specialties.
  • Lead educational modules and training sessions.
  • Identify performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in regulatory reporting and chart reviews.
  • Work in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in nursing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Healthcare Quality Management.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Registered Nursing License required.
  • Experience with transplant and cellular therapy patients preferred.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in personal protective equipment.
  • 5 years of nursing experience in relevant areas preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
