Pharmacy Technician IV - Procurement - Remote

Overview

The Pharmacy Technician IV will supervise, direct, coordinate and provide first line administrative and technical functions for our technicians, volunteers, students, and other personnel as directed. This position is an upper-level technician position in the Department of Pharmacy, requiring special skills and knowledge.

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and volunteers.

• Assist with technology upgrades in the pharmacy department.

• Manage accreditation activities.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Must have relevant pharmacy technician experience.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent pharmacy technician experience.
• Four years relevant pharmacy technician work experience.
• Pharmacy Technician License by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• National Technician Certification (PTCB).
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong math skills are required.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Two or more years of UAMS pharmacy experience is preferred.
