Surgical/Scrub Technician - One Day Surgery - Remote

Overview

The Surgical/Scrub Technician is responsible for assembling supplies for surgical procedures, maintaining the sterile field, passing surgical instruments, and assisting in room preparation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

• Assemble supplies for surgical procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Scrub Technologist school/program, or 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
• Preferred: Minimum of two years on-the-job training in surgical/scrub experience.
• Must be capable of donning personal protective equipment.
