Supply Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Supply Coordinator assists in the development, implementation and communication of sustained quality and resource-optimized measures, during the intraoperative phase, and advises the management team in the Surgical and Supply Chain departments on operational improvement, cost containment, preference card development and supply utilization.

In Short

• Assist in developing and implementing quality measures in surgical supply chain.
• Communicate with surgical staff to update preference cards and supply needs.
• Identify opportunities to decrease waste in supply usage.
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Coordinators and Supply Chain.
• Facilitate supplier changes and new product trials.
• Maintain records of core activities for reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Requires strong knowledge of supply chain and clinical experience.
• Must possess strong communication and leadership skills.
• Full-time position with day shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HS Diploma plus 4 years of experience in healthcare.
• 2 years of experience in inventory management.
• Experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain movement is necessary.
