Interventional Radiology Technologist - Remote

Overview

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing IR images for medical interpretation, assisting physicians in procedures, and ensuring patient safety and education.

• Produces interventional radiology images for medical interpretation.
• Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventional procedures.
• Educates and prepares patients for procedures.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control on equipment.
• Monitors patient conditions and reports changes as necessary.
• Participates in the training and orientation of new staff.
• Maintains ACR accreditation and complies with inspections.
• Performs other duties as required or directed.
• Rotates on-call schedule as needed.
• Adheres to time and attendance policy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License (must be obtained before start date).
• IR Advanced Certification by the ARRT must be obtained within 12 months from the date of hire.
• New grad or up to one year of radiology technologist experience.
