Overview

The Early Learning Inclusion Specialist will support the integration and care of children with developmental disabilities in early childhood settings, collaborating with various stakeholders to promote best practices.

In Short

  • Act as a developmental disability specialist and mentor for early childhood educators and related stakeholders.
  • Travel frequently within the state of Arkansas.
  • Provide expert guidance on supporting children with developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct environmental assessments and provide recommendations.
  • Train stakeholders on developmental disability-related content.
  • Maintain flexible hours to meet the needs of early childhood programs.
  • Adhere to program privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in training modules and statewide meetings.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports on time.
  • Collaborate with community agencies for effective service delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in an allied health or pediatric development-related field.
  • Two years of experience in early childhood development and intervention strategies.
  • Licensure or eligibility for practice in Arkansas.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and disorders.
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Training and public speaking experience preferred.
  • Doctoral degree and additional experience preferred.
