Overview

As a Technical Specialist in UHN Cybersecurity, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and infrastructure against cyber threats.

In Short

• Manage and administer Privilege Access Management solutions.
• Enhance security alerts and develop a robust SIEM system.
• Lead implementation of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions.
• Oversee vulnerability management program.
• Administer email security solutions to protect against threats.
• Collaborate with teams to improve overall cybersecurity posture.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Digital Security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.
• Experience in cybersecurity focusing on PAM, security alerting, SOAR, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of BeyondTrust or similar PAM solutions.
• Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
