Overview

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work in the Virtual Behavioural Medicine Program, providing support for individuals with dementia and responsive behaviours in long-term care homes across Ontario.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with specialization in Geriatrics or Mental Health
• Registered Nurse (Extended Class) in good standing
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in geriatric mental health
• Expertise in managing symptoms of dementia
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Client-service oriented with ability to work with diverse populations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to collaborative practice
• Ability to work independently under stress
