Cybersecurity Specialist - Remote

In Short

• This is a fully remote role.
• Candidate must be based in California or Colorado.
• Assist the Cybersecurity Operations Analyst.
• Protect data through intrusion/breach prevention.
• Collaborate with engineers and IT staff.
• Participate in incident response and reporting.
• Manage vendor tool implementation.
• Monitor endpoint security systems.
• Review security camera footage.
• Provide solutions for security helpdesk tickets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related preferred.
• One year of experience with information security or help desk.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+ preferred.
• Experience with application testing and incident response.
• Ability to communicate security needs with business leaders.
• Knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Provide after-hours support (on-call).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
