Overview

The Senior Application Analyst - Epic Beacon/Ambulatory is an integral member of the Digital Software Services (DSS) team, working closely with other members to support applications at University Health Network (UHN).

In Short

• Provide technical support for IT applications.
• Maintain strong knowledge of supported applications.
• Perform application testing of new releases and upgrades.
• Participate in roadmap planning for application upgrades.
• Provide customer service through end-user meetings.
• Document system problems and resolutions.
• Participate in an on-call roster for 24/7 support coverage.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Work in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and huddles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or health informatics.
• Thorough understanding of Epic Ambulatory Workflow.
• Advanced skills in software tools like Visio and SharePoint.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with clinical systems in a healthcare organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• Knowledge of IT concepts and components.
• Experience in project/systems implementation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
