Senior Project Engineer - Rail Vehicle Technology - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Rail Vehicle Technology with experience in technical project management within the rail vehicle industry. You will be responsible for project execution and communication with stakeholders.

In Short

• Lead projects in the European Train Control System (ETCS) across all phases.
• Monitor KPIs related to time, cost, and quality to ensure project goals are met.
• Commission planning offices and construction companies, managing them operationally.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including energy suppliers and authorities.
• Document projects and ensure completeness of documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification.
• Solid knowledge in the area of ETCS.
• Practical experience in project management and knowledge in interlocking technology are advantageous.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of engagement and initiative.
