Senior Project Engineer (m/f/d) Development & System Integration of Rail Vehicles - Remote

Overview

This position involves taking responsibility for the implementation of complex development and integration projects in the field of ETCS, ensuring technical execution while managing timelines, quality, and costs.

In Short

• Lead projects in the European Train Control System (ETCS) across all performance phases.
• Monitor relevant KPIs regarding time, cost, and quality to meet project goals.
• Commission planning offices and construction companies and manage them operationally.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including energy suppliers and authorities.
• Document projects and ensure completeness.

Requirements

• Completed studies in industrial engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Solid knowledge in the field of ETCS.
• Practical project management experience and knowledge in signal technology are advantageous.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of commitment and initiative.
