Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead engineering and technological advancements in our waste-to-energy solutions at our new office. The ideal candidate has strong leadership in engineering, expertise in thermodynamics and energy conversion, and a track record in optimizing complex systems. This role requires strategic thinking, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with research institutions and industry partners to drive innovation. • Oversee engineering operations, optimizing R&D, design, and technology development processes;

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Power Engineering (or related fields);
• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership, preferably in power engineering, mechanical engineering, renewable energy, or industrial plant design;
• Strong background in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and energy conversion processes;
• Expertise in computational modeling and process simulation (e.g., ANSYS, ChemCAD, ASPEN HYSYS);
• Knowledge of materials engineering for high-temperature and corrosive environments;
• Familiarity with international industry standards (ISO, ASME, API, IEC) and environmental regulations;
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to manage international projects and multidisciplinary teams.
