Overview

As an Underwriting Customer Service Representative at United Automobile Insurance Company, you will provide exceptional service to customers and agents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

In Short

  • Coordinate day-to-day service and administrative requirements.
  • Answer 75 to 100 calls per day.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and develop rapport with callers.
  • Resolve inquiries and complaints from agents and customers.
  • Document inquiries and responses in policy accounts.
  • Prepare for inquiries by studying products and services.
  • Handle cancellations and policy changes.
  • Recommend process changes to improve service quality.
  • Work remotely from the Southeast region.
  • Must have a high school diploma and customer service experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma plus minimum of one year experience in customer service.
  • 220 license preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
