Overview

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating revenue and meeting sales targets by establishing and maintaining relationships with existing agencies while also seeking out and acquiring new business opportunities.

In Short

  • Initiate contact with independent agencies within your designated territory.
  • Identify decision makers and key contacts within the agency.
  • Ensure that agencies are aware of our contact information and the departments responsible for specific inquiries.
  • Familiarize yourself with the agency's history and operations.
  • Assess opportunities for growth and profitability within the agency.
  • Analyze the agency's size, business volume, target customer base, lead generation methods, and more.
  • Understand any existing barriers and challenges that may hinder adopting our products/services.
  • Conduct 16-20 unique in-person sales calls per week.
  • Document all visits and include detailed notes in the corresponding calendar event.
  • Maintain a shared calendar with the team to ensure transparency.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of proven experience in field sales or a related role.
  • Bilingual fluency preferred but not required: English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales-related technologies.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented individual.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
