Staff Data Scientist - Remote

In Short

• Lead end-to-end personalization initiatives across the product.
• Design and build complex machine learning models like recommender systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data teams.
• Drive experimentation including A/B test design and measurement.
• Define architecture for scalable personalization systems.
• Lead cross-functional standups to drive personalization initiatives.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical direction.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
• 6+ years in data science or machine learning.
• Experience in designing recommendation engines and ranking algorithms.
• Expertise in statistical modeling and causal inference techniques.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate business problems into data solutions.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
