Overview

Ubisoft is seeking an experienced Tool Developer to design, develop, and maintain tools that support various disciplines within the development team, enhancing productivity and streamlining workflows.

In Short

  • Design and maintain custom tools for development teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows.
  • Ensure tools are user-friendly and well-documented.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tool-related issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Report to the Technical Director for project alignment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in tool development for game or similar industries.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or C++.
  • Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Experience creating user-friendly tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of mobile game development is desirable.
