Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role is a field-based, customer-facing position focused on advancing clinical practice and improving patient outcomes through scientific engagement.

In Short

• Engage with healthcare providers and medical experts in Oklahoma and West Texas.
• Utilize scientific expertise to build professional relationships.
• Conduct customer engagements on clinical data and patient journey barriers.
• Identify and develop strategies for medical engagements and partnerships.
• Provide clinical trial support and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic areas and Novartis compounds.
• Execute administrative responsibilities and maintain CRM updates.
• Drive personal and professional development.
• Travel approximately 60-70% to meet performance objectives.
• Work in compliance with Novartis policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in science or healthcare required; doctoral degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in a Field Medical position for Manager level.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred for Manager level.
• 3+ years of experience in a Field Medical position for AD level.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of FDA guidelines required.
• Ability to work within compliance and ethical standards.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the territory border.
• Valid driver’s license required.
