A Remote Controller position with a national advisory firm specializing in nonprofit organizations, managing a team and overseeing client financial deliverables.

In Short

• Manage a team of two accountants.
• Oversee a portfolio of 4-7 nonprofit clients.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure accurate client deliverables.
• Employ new financial technologies for clients.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with annual audit work.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings.
• Contribute to the development of new accounting systems.
• Work in a tech-savvy environment with cutting-edge software.
• Full-time position with typical hours M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM ET.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience overseeing junior accountants required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-cycle nonprofit accounting experience required.
• Client advisory or public/outsourced accounting experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs required.
