Overview

Join the team as our next Commercial Account Executive I, on Twilio’s Segment Sales Team, where you will support our Segment Sales organization and help customers optimize their customer engagement.

In Short

  • Drive opportunities through the entire sales cycle from pipeline generation through to close and post-sales.
  • Employ a value-oriented sales methodology focused on customer data and marketing activation.
  • Build upon the growth & adoption of Segment in the Growth business segment.
  • Own the cross-functional team from Pre-Sales through to Customer Success.
  • Drive a pipeline generation cadence to develop expansion opportunities.
  • Lead presentations of Segment’s product to a broad range of audiences.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts on sales and revenue performance.
  • Leverage cross-functional teams to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Work closely with Twilio team members to drive company-wide deployments.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of quota carrying sales experience.
  • Experience in pipeline generation and metrics-based approaches.
  • Proven record of exceeding quotas.
  • SaaS based sales experience.
  • Value based sales methodology experience.
  • Strong understanding of the MarTech industry.
  • Proficient in modern sales processes/methodologies.
  • Excellent presence to influence and sell at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of forecasting.
