Legal and Compliance Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an exceptional, highly-motivated, business-minded attorney to join TwelveLabs as Legal and Compliance Counsel on the Legal & Compliance Team.

In Short

• Serve as a legal advisor on commercial matters, including contract negotiations.
• Manage third-party audits and certification attainment.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams.
• Develop enablement tools and contract templates.
• Navigate global regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct internal risk assessments and audits.
• Drive compliance culture and embed integrity in operations.
• Assist with general legal needs as they arise.
• Develop training materials related to legal and compliance matters.

Requirements

• A J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• 2-6 years of combined legal experience.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Experience in regulatory and compliance matters.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS licensing and technology transactions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and solution-oriented ethos.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of matters.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment.
