Solutions Engineer, Healthcare Claims Pricing & Contract Analytics - Remote

Overview

Are you ready to join an exciting health tech startup revolutionizing the healthcare industry? Turquoise Health is looking for a talented Solutions Engineer at Turquoise Health with deep SQL skills and passion for customer interaction, data-driven solutions, sales engineering, analytics, and products that spark joy for users. You’ll query and analyze hospital and health system contract data to collaborate with the Product team to enhance our product suite and build features from the ground up. You will also be a trusted advisor to our customers, guiding them through the intricate world of healthcare pricing data. Your expertise in contract pricing mechanisms will help build machine-readable files and empower customers to analyze the impact of contracting changes. You'll have the opportunity to create data-driven solutions, expand product adoption, and actively contribute to our data product roadmap. We’re looking for the right balance of big thinker, revenue cycle subject-matter expert and data analyst to push the bounds of what is possible within Turquoise’s product stack. 

In Short

• Be the go-to expert, partnering with customers to understand their data and reporting requirements.
• Work with the Product Team, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to ensure customer feedback drives product development.
• Own the creation of machine-readable files for hospital and health system customers.
• Help customers analyze their payer-provider contracts and rates.
• Tackle critical business and infrastructure issues through data extraction and analysis.
• Deepen understanding of Turquoise’s product suite and customer use cases.
• Undertake special projects to ideate on features and strengthen customer relationships.
• Provide analytics support, empowering customers with self-service tools.
• Seek and prioritize technical feedback by engaging with customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare consulting in a technical/analytical role.
• In-depth knowledge of payer-provider contracting and claims pricing.
• Strong SQL skills are a must; experience with BI tools is a plus.
• A high standard for quality assurance of work products.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• A drive to produce high-quality work at a fast pace.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions.
