Security GRC Analyst (Cloud/AWS) - Remote

Overview

Turnitin is seeking an experienced Security GRC Analyst with Cloud/AWS skills to join our Security & Compliance team. The Security GRC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our information and cloud systems comply with relevant regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and internal policies. They will also collaborate with various departments, monitor compliance, conduct assessments, and support initiatives to identify and mitigate risks.

In Short

• Maintain compliance tracking capabilities to ensure adherence with Turnitin’s security program and industry standards.
• Conduct risk and compliance assessments, audits, and risk evaluations.
• Lead preparation and audit activities for SOC 2 Type 2.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for compliance reviews.
• Support TPRM Program and conduct third-party risk assessments.
• Complete user access reviews and administer GRC platform.
• Participate in the development of security policies and standards.
• Provide security awareness training for employees.
• Automate manual compliance tasks and improve team processes.
• Leverage AWS for continuous monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security.
• 1+ years with AWS Cloud Services.
• Professional certification such as CCSK or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and SOC 2.
• Experience with risk management and security best practices.
• Understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and security.
• Highly organized and proactive individual.
