Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Construction Management - Remote

Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to join our Tampa construction management team, supporting cost services across a portfolio of real estate projects, with potential exposure to other sectors. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration.

In Short

• Manage cost services across the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through close-out.
• Advise clients on procurement strategies and vendor prequalification.
• Support the development of cost plans, budgets, and estimates.
• Prepare and review cost reports, forecasts, and budget tracking documents.
• Assess payment applications and change orders.
• Monitor invoicing and ensure accurate financial documentation.
• Assist in benchmarking project performance.
• Participate in final accounting and post-contract audits.
• Collaborate with project teams on cost-related matters.
• Support financial reporting for internal and client-facing presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction cost management.
• RICS accreditation or working toward it is a plus.
• Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Strong preference for candidates with consultancy experience.
• Proficiency in cost estimating and project management software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.
