Senior AP Accountant - Remote

Overview

The AP Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable operations, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in vendor payments and financial transactions.

In Short

• Accounts Payable full cycle including distribute invoices for approval and post for payment in accordance with company policies
• Process and manage month-end and quarter-end accruals related to accounts payable.
• Reconcile and analyze multiple assigned GL accounts
• Participate in the continuous improvement process for AP automation
• Ensure accuracy of GL coding for invoices
• Manage all vendor relationship responsibilities
• Collect and process W-9's for all vendors
• Ensure compliance with sales and use taxes from AP perspective
• Manage credit card programs and reconcile statements
• Assist with fixed asset management and reporting

Requirements

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
• 3+ years of private or public accounting experiences related to AP
• Large ERP system experience required, NetSuite experience is preferred
• Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both internal teams and external vendors
